The week started off on a high note with the much-anticipated first House Points reveal of the year during Monday’s assembly. Second-Hand Uniform Sale
Thank you to parents who have donated uniform items and the Parent's Fundraising Committee for organising this morning’s termly second-hand uniform sale. It was great to see parent volunteers helping with the event.
Modelling community-mindedness, helpfulness, and social awareness for our pupils. The sale supports sustainability, reduces waste, and provides affordable uniform options, reinforcing the importance of being charitable and socially responsible. We appreciate everyone’s efforts for this event.
Virtual Coffee Morning with Mrs Hampton - Parent consultation on Reports on 23rd January 2025
Mrs Hampton invites parents to a virtual coffee morning consultation on Thursday 23rd January 2025 to discuss school reports. This informal meeting is an opportunity for parents to share their thoughts on the information included in reports—what is working well and what could be improved. We value your input and look forward to hearing your ideas to ensure reports are as helpful and informative as possible. Zoom details will be shared early next week.
Accounts Team
We are delighted to officially welcome Ms Pourian of Abacus Accounting, who has joined the school’s accounting team. Ms Pourian has already made a significant contribution by supporting the school through the VAT process, and we are thrilled she has accepted a permanent post with us.
At the same time, we bid farewell to Ms Morgan, who has worked with the school remotely for over 10 years. She will be leaving the team at the end of the month, and we extend our heartfelt thanks for her many years of dedicated support. We wish her every success in her future endeavours.
Ms Pourian will be taking over as Bursar and can be reached for any queries at accounts@connaughthouseschool.co.uk.
Open Day
The annual Open Morning is taking place on Friday, 21st March. This event provides an excellent opportunity for pupils to showcase the remarkable work they’ve been involved in throughout the year.
Parents and family members are invited to attend and are expected to accompany their children during this special occasion, allowing for quality time together within the school setting. Alongside viewing the pupils’ achievements, parents will also have the chance to meet the team including subject specialist staff.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Please note that there will be no school or clubs for children in the afternoon, as the school will be hosting an Open Afternoon for prospective parents.
