Festive Postbox

The Festive Postbox will be open for one last day on Monday, 9th December, for children to postcards to their classmates. Once the postbox is brimming with cheer, Santa’s Little Helpers from the Senior classes will step in to deliver the cards throughout the school on Tuesday.

Community Partnership in collaboration with Marble Arch BID

Forms Four and Five visited Penfold Community Hub to deliver the festive cards that pupils across the school had been busily designing and creating. The children were warmly welcomed by the guests and added to the Christmas spirit by performing a medley of festive tunes during the residents’ Christmas lunch.
This special event was a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to bring joy to others and to live out one of our behaviour codes to ‘Be Community Minded.’ We are incredibly proud of the kindness and enthusiasm they demonstrated throughout the visit.

The Marylebone Project

A heartfelt thank you to the CHS community for coming together and being ‘Community Minded’ by collecting an incredible amount of produce and goods for the women and children supported by The Marylebone Project. Form One Parent Representatives, Ms Dvorkis and Ms Bui, delivered all the donations to those who need them most. Your generosity is especially impactful during the festive season, a time when such support truly makes a difference.

Form Two and Three - Open Swim

Thank you to all the parents of children in Forms Two and Three who joined us at the Kensington Leisure Centre for the Open Swim session. It was wonderful to see so many parents there, celebrating the children’s progress and hard work in swimming. The children thoroughly enjoyed showcasing their skills.

New PE Teacher

Mr Murray White joined us today to work alongside Mr Shanahan for a smooth transition. Fingers crossed we will have a budding basketball team in the future.

Upcoming

Junior Play and Senior Choir Carol concert - Wednesday 11th December 2pm

Please ensure that children are wearing their full school uniform, No games kit please.
As the children will be dismissed from the church, we ask that they do not bring their school bags with them on Wednesday.

A reminder that our Junior Play and Senior Choir Carol Concert will take place on Wednesday, 11 December. We kindly ask parents to arrive no earlier than 1:50 pm, as this will allow the children to be settled before their guests arrive.

A professional recording company will be filming the event, so please relax and enjoy the performances knowing that special moments are being captured. If you haven’t yet registered your interest in purchasing a copy of the Christmas play and concert please contact Miss Cho.
The concert will include both the Junior Play and Senior Choir’s carol performances. At the conclusion of the event, children will be dismissed directly from the church, please ensure that there is someone supporting your child in this annual event. The children will not be returning to school at the end of the afternoon.
