Senior Choir Singing at The Victory Services Club

The final week of the term began with pupils from Forms Four to Six delighting guests at the Victory Services Club with a festive selection of songs. Our fortunate children were then surprised by a special visitor, straight from the North Pole, who gave a hearty "Ho Ho Ho!" and presented each child with a delicious Christmas gift as a token of appreciation.

Junior Play and Senior Choir Carol concert

We hope you will agree that the Juniors’ performance of The Nutcracker on Wednesday afternoon was a truly joyous occasion. Congratulations to all our actors, from Junior One to Form Two, who learned their lines and performed beautifully. The afternoon was further enhanced by the stunning vocals of our Senior Choir, with memorable solos from Saif and Lili. A special mention goes to Mimi, who captivated us with her rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas on the oboe, and to Darcy, whose own composition on the piano was nothing short of enchanting.
The festive spirit continued with a highly successful cake sale, organised by our incredibly efficient Parent Fundraising Committee and supported by parent volunteers. An impressive £903 was raised for the school’s bursary fund and the children’s chosen charities.

The following day, our lucky children were treated to some of the leftover cakes for snack time, with the rest being delivered by the House Captains, Izzy and Iva, to our neighbours at the VSC, along with a very special Christmas card, signed from all the children, designed by our very own resident artist, Olivia in Junior One!

Artwork of the Week

Fayyadh in Form Four, for a brilliant appliqué design inspired by Henri Matisse’s ‘drawing with scissors’ collages. Fantastic, careful stitching with painted fabrics. Well done Fayyadh!
