A beautiful day to end the week, with the sun shining as our Junior footballers headed off to Hyde Park for an afternoon of sports. Congratulations to the youngest members of our CHS community, who have all settled so well into their new schools. Next week will see the start of full school days for our pupils in Junior One. 

Pupil Voice

Pupil Voice is well underway, with new members enthusiastically taking on their roles in the council, already making suggestions for this year’s chosen charity. More democratic elections are coming up, with nominations for House Captains and Vice-Captains from  Form Six set for the Clifton and Sussex assemblies on Monday 30th. We are all anticipating plenty of canvassing over the next week from hopeful contenders. 

Winter Uniform 

A reminder to all parents that Winter Uniform should be worn from the first week in October, giving you a few more days to order long trousers, long-sleeved shirts, and, for those in grey skirts and pinafores, bottle-green tights. Please ensure that your child has a spare uniform kept at school for rainy days in the park to change into. These should be kept in a named drawstring bag.

Second-Hand Uniform Sale

The Parents Committee 2023/24 has arranged a Second Hand Uniform Sale to take place next week for parents who are on the lookout for larger sizes or items that they require. As always, the donations made by card will go towards the CHS Bursary Fund and the CHS Hardship Fund. Cash payments will be made towards the charity chosen by the children.  

Lego Robotics 

For parents looking for a robotics club, there are still spaces available for our Friday afternoon Lego robotics club. Children will explore the fascinating world of space exploration through challenging robotics activities. For further information follow the link here.
