The school is finally free of scaffolding, with all building works completed just in time for the exciting visit from the Jigsaw Company which is our scheme of work for Personal, Social and Health Education. Jerrie Cat made a special guest appearance to support the launch of the Pupil Leadership Module.

Jigsaw Team Visit – A Note of Thanks

We were delighted to welcome the Jigsaw team and Jerrie Cat on Monday. They have asked us to pass on their heartfelt thanks to everyone, including the children, for the warm welcomes they received and the wonderful work they saw during their visit. As a token of appreciation, they have kindly gifted the school three Jigsaw books: one on coping with grief and sadness, and two copies of Bounce Back Jack, a book focused on building resilience. Along with Jerrie Cat thank-you stickers, which will be distributed to each class to celebrate the children’s hard work and contributions.

The team shared how impressed they were with the children’s excellent behaviour throughout their visit. They will now be editing videos and photographs taken during the day, which will be reviewed by Mrs Hampton and the Senior Leadership Team before being used in their social media and training materials for other schools.

11+ Exams

Wishing the very best of luck to our Form Six pupils as they prepare to sit their 11+ exams.  Some of these are hosted in school, while for others, they will be travelling far and wide to their potential Senior schools.  These exams and assessments mark a significant milestone in their academic journey, and we are proud of the hard work, and resilience they have shown in their preparations. We know they are ready to face this challenge with confidence and skill. We are all behind them, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements. Remember, Form Six you are more than just a series of numbers.  Good luck, – we are cheering you on!
