Poetry Competition
We are looking forward to our annual Poetry Competition in school on Wednesday morning. Mrs Woodcock, the Head of Francis Holland North, will be joining us to judge the poems. The children in the Junior classes have been busy writing their own verses, developing their understanding of poetry. Our older pupils have been researching poetry - from Keats to Zephaniah - and have all chosen poems and extended their bank of poetry in the process.
Please ensure your son/daughter comes into school looking smart in their complete uniform with hair tied up and ties in place.
Whilst this event is held during school hours, parents will have the opportunity of enjoying our Poetry Recital on 17 March at the Carisbrooke Hall - 2.30pm start. This event usually lasts for about an hour and children go home at the end of the performance directly from the Hall. Please note that this is not a suitable event for children younger than 3 years of age.
Parent Meetings
We are looking forward to seeing you in school on Wednesday, 1 March / Thursday, 2 March to meet with your child’s Form Teacher.
* Please note there will be no Baking Club or Yoga Club on Wednesday, 1 March due to Parent Meetings *
Mr Taiwo will notify you directly about his Football Club if it is raining too heavily.
