Happy New Year to all our CHS families. This year has certainly started full of promise with a full week of learning. 

New PE Teacher  

Mr Shanahan had a wonderful welcome to the school with very positive PE lessons and sports-focused clubs. Whilst our Core Skills Gymnastic clubs are full, there are still a couple of places available for the Thursday Team Building Skills club for anyone interested, please contact the school office.

Our children in Form Six have continued their busy 11+ schedules, gradually moving towards the interview section of the process. We are extremely proud of the maturity and stamina that they are showing and wish them the very best of luck for the final hurdle. 

Second-Hand Uniform Sale

Donations for our second-hand uniform sale are welcomed from Wednesday afternoon, at 3.30 pm. The uniform sale will occur on Thursday afternoon at 3.30 pm and again on Friday morning from 8.30 am. 

 Special Visits

We look forward to welcoming visitors from Tatler and Good Schools Guide next week and are delighted to have been approached for these prestigious visits. 

Artwork of the week

Poppy in Form Two, for creating a wonderful 3D insect in art club. Brilliant use of symmetrical pattern on the wings and a lovely textured background, well done Poppy!
