Mrs Hampton started the summer term off with an assembly welcoming all the children back to CHS and learning a little about St Georges's Day.

Ms Harford’s Half Marathon Challenge for World Wildlife Fund (WWF)

Ms Harford (J1 Teaching Assistant) ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 7th April to raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The WWF’s mission is very close to Ms Harford’s heart. If you would like to find out more about why she has chosen to support the WWF, you can view her fundraising page at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/shann-mcmanus
Ms Harford wanted to express her gratitude to those who have donated in support of the run. It took her two hours to complete 13.1 miles. That is quite an accomplishment!

Upcoming

General Knowledge Quiz

Prior to the Easter holiday, the children were given a copy of this year’s General Knowledge Quiz. Pupils were tasked with researching the Seen questions during the break to prepare for the impending quiz. However, as always, an additional UNSEEN paper will add a layer of challenge for the children in their endeavour to receive the General Knowledge Trophy. The quiz will take place next week and we hope the children look forward to taking part!
