Exam Results

We are delighted with our boys and girls who sat exams and attended interviews this term.  Offers have been arriving from a whole range of schools including Belmont Mill Hill, Dulwich College, Francis Holland North & South, Kensington Park School, Latymer Prep, More House, Sussex House, South Hampstead, Wetherby, Westminster Under School, Queen’s Gate & Queen’s College.

Particular commendation goes to our Form Six pupils who sat the new format Consortium exams. We are also extremely proud to have heard that our pupils have received a flurry of scholarships to Francis Holland Regent’s Park, Kensington Park School and Queen’s College.  Well done, CHS!

On Monday, Form One consolidated their work on Dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum, taking part in a practical workshop in which they were budding palaeontologists.  They were wowed by the prehistoric exhibitions and the dinosaurs that they thought were real!

Sharing good practice

Once again we have been approached by St Mary’s University to support the training of a second year BEd student following Miss Wilkins’ successful placement last year in Junior One.  This is an excellent opportunity for the school to showcase the high calibre of teaching and learning at Connaught House and for our teachers to gain some experience in training and supporting the next generation of teachers.

Wishing all of our CHS families a very restful half term and we look forward to seeing all of our pupils back refreshed, full of poetry and raring to go on Monday, 25 February.
